In BumperCar, to download a file means to fetch it from the network and save it to your Mac so that you can work with it in the Finder or another application. The Downloads panel allows you to track the progress of such operations.

To show the Downloads panel, choose Downloads from the Window menu or press Shift-Command-D.

The panel contains a list of files that have been recently downloaded, as well as any files that are in the process of being downloaded. If you want to cancel a download, click its Stop button. Downloads that are cancelled or completed remain in the panel for parental review. To clear the download list, go to the Advanced section of the Safety Settings window and click "Clear downloads".
